RESERVATION

Written Agreement for Reservations

This agreement (hereafter referred to as gthe agreementh) and our policy as written in the agreement include all conditions applied for the use of this reservation system (hereafter referred to as the gSystemh).
The gCustomerh in this agreement means the signee and gour companyh means a restaurant of Kyoto Kitcho.
gUsage of the Systemh means that the Customer agrees and consents the agreement as described below. Our company can change the conditions of this agreement without prior notice and the customer must accept those changes.

1. Reservation Policy

When the Customer makes a reservation, our company will send an e-mail confirming the reservation.
The Customer must agree to receive the confirmation email by usage of the System.
We will confirm the reservation after we receive the Customerfs response to the confirmation e-mail.
In the event that the Customer does not respond within three days of the day of making the reservation, the reservation will be cancelled.
So the Customer must agree our policy regarding the method of confirmation and cancellation.
It is recommended that the Customer make reservations well in advance, especially in busy seasons of spring and fall, though we allow reservations up to three days in advance.

2. Confirmation Policy

We will contact the Customer to reconfirm the reservation in the period beginning three days before the Customerfs arrival.
The Customer may also contact our company after the Customerfs arrival and before the reservation date.
The Customerfs reservation will be canceled if our company is unable to contact the Customer before the reservation date.
The Customer will be required to pay a cancellation fee in accordance with our Cancellation Fee Policy.
This is required as we allow only customers who have already made reservations and need to prepare a wide variety of foodstuffs.

3. Cancellation Policy

Our company promises to provide superior service to the Customer.
In order for our company to maintain a consistent level of service, we ask that the Customer cancel the reservation up to three days before the reservation date in the event that the Customer is unable to come.

In accordance with our Cancellation Fee Policy, our company requires the Customer to provide us with valid credit card information when canceling a reservation.
The Customer is required to agree to our companyfs Cancellation Fee Policy when making a reservation.

4. Cancellation Fee Policy

If the Customer cancels the reservation up to three days before the reservation date, our company will not collect a cancellation fee.
When the reservation is canceled between one and three days before the reservation date, our company will collect a cancellation fee of 50% of the total.
When the reservation is canceled on the day of the reservation, our company will collect a cancellation fee of 100% of the total.
Additionally, if only some customers cancel their reservations, our company will collect a cancellation fee of 80% of the total per cancellation.
Exceptions are made for stoppages in public transit used by the Customer or inclement weather.

5. Restaurant Hours

Please understand that our companyfs business hours are listed in Japan Standard Time (JST), or Greenwich Mean Time +9.
The Customer must contact our company during business hours about reservations or cancellations.
