Décor to Convey the Advent of Spring
Our décor offers much to delight the eye, including this screen for April adorned with the family crest of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, ruler of Japan in the late 1500s.
Said to be modeled after a military screen that Hideyoshi used at cherry-blossom-viewing parties, the combination of cherry blossoms and the paulownia crest strikingly conveys the graceful aesthetic of the Momoyama Period along with springtime cheer.
Every room offers distinctive touches such as this. We urge you to explore them in intervals during the course of your meal.
