Kitcho's founder Yuki Teiichi placed great importance on traditional Japanese aesthetics, exemplified by these formal tatami rooms.
Two rooms with horigotatsu seating (sunken floor with table) provide comfortable seating, and can be combined into one large room for up to 28 guests.

The feature wall of each room on this floor is adorned with natural earth artworks by plaster craftsman Hasado Syuhei. Feel the warmth of the soil in a private room as you enjoy special time with your guests.

Plaster craftsman, Hasado Syuhei
Hasado creates artworks focusing on various natural earth materials to great acclaim from Japan and abroad.
He uses many media for his expression not previously seen in the plastering field.

A beautiful moss garden created by landscape bonsai artist Kobayashi Kenji surrounds the four semi-private rooms on the fifth floor.
We hope you enjoy gazing out onto the garden, which combines traditional aesthetics with modern elegance.

Landscape bonsai artist, Kobayashi Kenji
Created with expert skill and superb sense to express full scenes of nature in small pots, Kobayashi's landscape bonsai works have caught the eye of many.

The distinctive interior design of each floor allows you to enjoy a truly unique setting as you partake in our seasonal cuisine.

Smoking is only allowed in private rooms.
The Japanese-style private tatami rooms on the second floor are only available for groups of seven or more.
We appreciate your understanding if we are unable to meet your request for a specific room.
