Kitcho Co., Ltd. is established by Teiichi Yuki*1 who is the
founder of the issuing company and he is Mr.Tokuoka's grandfather. |
| 1948 |
Kyoto Arashiyama Kitcho store opens in Kyoto. |
| 1961 |
Tokyo Kitcho store opens in Tokyo. |
| 1979 |
Mr.Yuki provides a banquet of Tokyo (Economic) Summit at State
Guesthouse. |
| 1983 |
Reagan president visited Japan, Mr.Yuki provides a a banquet
at "HINODE SANSO", Nakasone president's restaurant. |
| 1991 |
Kyoto Kitcho Co., Ltd is established. |
| 1995 |
Mr.Tokuoka becomes the head chef of Arashiyama Kitcho. |
*1 Teiichi Yuki, the late founder of Kitcho, pursued his philosophy
of cooking his unique style of Japanese cuisine amid the beauty
of nature. There are now 21 Kitcho branches in Japan, all run by
his relatives. They continue to create their own brand of Japanese
cuisine, one that ranks with the very best in the world.
